1/2 lb. butter, softened but not melted (2 sticks)
1/2 lb margarine, softened
1-1/2 c. sugar
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 eggs
2 T. real vanilla extract
6 c. flour
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
3-4 c. milk chocolate chips
In mixer combine ingredients in the following order: sugars, margarine, butter, eggs, vanilla, dry ingredients, chips. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
I usually cook them for about 9 minutes, it keeps them a little soft! And when I am cutting the recipe in half with the 3 eggs I put two in and then put the third egg in a separate bowl and mix the egg and then just pour about half of that into the mix.
